Technological Leap

Compressed air system of a new generation.

SEKA compressed air systems for construction machines are backed by the comprehensive experience of true specialists in this technology field.

This is especially true of the latest generation which was designed to lower installation costs, increase the availability of the machine and drive reliability to new levels.

Adaptive air control:
Precisely controlled air supply

With the Adaptive Air Control system SEKA has developed a new solution to maximize the availability of a construction machine. It does not only pump air into the cabin depending on the required air pressure. It uses an intelligent control system that operates on the basis of multiple parameters inside the cabin to provide exactly the amount of air required to maintain the defined air quality. As a result, the availability of the construction machine is almost twice as high as with conventional systems.

Modularity:
Economic system design

The installation of a compressed air system on a construction machine used to be very time-consuming. The strictly modular design of the SEKA system, however, results in considerably reduced installation efforts. This not only speeds up the initial installation of a system, but also contributes to faster maintenance and an accelerated exchange of spare parts. The complete system consists of only four components: control panel, compressed air tank assembly, Airbox and air circulation system.

Airbox:
Technology in a compact design

The Airbox is the primary component of a SEKA compressed air system. It combines all sensors, valves and shut-off components, as well the main parts of the electronic control system into a highly compact unit. The complete system is delivered as a fully mounted and fully functional unit ready for installation.

Quality control:
Safety without compromises

Each individual SEKA Airbox is subjected to a comprehensive test program on an especially developed test bench designed to simulate the operation of the system under real-life conditions. In course of this test sequence, more than 20 different measurements and a realtime data recorder guarantee comprehensive documentation of all relevant quality criteria.
