Dust extraction systems are designed for applications where existing legal requirements do not specifically demand any particular protective equipment according to the DGUV 201-004 standard. This refers to all environments that are characterized by high dust levels while the breathing air is not contaminated with toxic substances that represent a health hazard.
A dust extraction system basically consists of the same components as a protective ventilation system. This means, it presses dust loaded outside air through a filter system and blows it into the cabin. The only difference is that a dust extraction system is not a ble to remove any noxious fumes or toxic gases from the air. There is also no air circulation system and no fully sealed cabin.
SEKA dust extraction systems consist of the very same components as SEKA protective ventilation systems. They are also designed according to the same principle with a fan mounted at the air inlet of the system. This turns our technology into a flexible solution that can be upgraded anytime.
