A protective ventilation system reliably guarantees that only filtered air can get into the operator’s cabin.
With an added air circulation system, SEKA takes even one more step towards clean air. It is able to remove even those particles which might get into the cabin while the door is open for the operator to enter or leave his workplace. It also effectively prevents germs, spores and fungi from multiplying.
A SEKA protective ventilation system continuously pushes filtered air into the inside of the operator’s cabin. This causes a controlled overpressure which effectively prevents contaminated outside air from entering into the inside of the cabin. Yet, during real-life operating conditions it cannot be prevented that a small amount of contaminated air still gets into the cabin – for example while the operator enters or leaves the cabin, but also in the form of dirt attached to his shoes or clothing.
In course of time this can even lead to an increased level of contamination. Germs, spores and fungi tend to multiply rapidly once they had a chance to get inside the cabin. This effect can even be accelerated if moisture was able to penetrate into the cabin trough leaks.
In order to get full control of any airborne pollution inside the operator’s cabin, SEKA protective ventilation systems come with an air circulation system as standard feature. This system continuously recirculates and filters the air inside the cabin. The efficiency of such a system increases with the frequency of the air circulation of the existing air volume.
But a high recirculation frequency also comes with an increased noise level. This will be especially evident in a pressurized cabin, since pressurization also filters out a great portion of outside noises while inside noises become even more evident.
SEKA solves this conflicting situation by using an air circulation system with especially large filters. These filters require a considerably lower fan rotation, thereby reducing noise emissions without limiting efficiency.
