Hygiene

Easy cleaning.

SEKA protective ventilation systems are backed by a company with many years of experience.

They are supported by specialists staying in close contact with the practitioners on site. This is also demonstrated by a mechanical structure that ensures optimal hygienic conditions, and provides easy cleaning and maintenance.

Stainless steel:
Surfaces according to hospital standards

SEKA has transferred the design principles of modern medical devices to its protective ventilation systems. The entire body of the system is made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, while electropolished surfaces support easy decontamination and cleaning.

During electropolishing the surface of the workpiece is treated electrochemically. This technology removes a microscopic top layer and results in a smooth and shiny surface. The structure in the macro range will remain, but receives a smooth and rounded surface.

The advantages of such a sophisticated surface treatment are evident: lower adhesion of germs, reduced residues and decorative splendor, which reveals a high quality product at first glance.

Value retention:
Hygiene with cost benefits

Easy maintenance and cleaning will take less time and therefore adds to the positive operating costs of SEKA protective ventilation systems. But there is another cost benefit: The high-quality surfaces result in an extraordinarily high reflection of the sunlight.

This prevents any unwanted heating of the air blown into the cabin, which not only reduces the load on the air condition system, but also results in reduced mechanical wear and lower operating costs.

Maintenance-friendly:
Smooth surfaces for easy cleaning

Regulation BGI581 for protective ventilation systems demands thorough cleaning of the filter housing whenever the filter needs to be exchanged. SEKA supports this requirement with a mechanical structure perfectly designed up to the smallest detail.

SEKA Protective ventilation systems were especially developed for easy maintenance and cleaning. This includes a sleek design without any avoidable beads, corners and edges. Particularly the filter housing is characterized by a simple geometry with a smooth surface that can be easily cleaned with a cloth and a vacuum cleaner.
