For this reason, SEKA offers comprehensive application support and equips each of its protective ventilation systems with a filter system precisely matching the existing ambient air and its contamination.
Each work environment is different and calls for a specific combination of HEPA filters and activated carbon filters. For this reason, SEKA offers a modular filter design allowing up to 100 filter combinations.
Up to three different filters can be inserted into each other. In this way a construction machine can be tailored quickly and easily to different environment conditions. This can be don directly at the building site and does not require any time-consuming alterations.
The pre-configured filter packages allow the fast setup of any protective ventilation system to match the most frequent applications. In case local requirements call for specific filtering, even such filter combinations can be adapted easily.
HEPA filters come in different classifications. The principle is: the higher the number following the respective letter the smaller the particles the filter can remove from the air stream.
This filter package matches environments characterized by especially high contaminations in the form of gases. This corresponds to environments calling for gas masks conforming at least to category 2. A typical application is the remediation of contaminated sites.

This filter package matches applications characterized by a relatively low content of pollutant gases and foul fumes. This corresponds to all applications calling for a category 1 gas mask. Typical environments are composting sites.
S8.4C2: Activated carbon filter with a volume of 4.0 kg (total weight app 6.5 kg).
S8.35: Class H14 HEPA filter (one class higher than recommended) with an effective filter surface of 2 m2 and an effectiveness of 99.99985%.
This filter package matches all applications characterized by contaminations in the form of only airborne particles. It is primarily used for the disposal of asbestos.
S8.4S: HEPA filer with an effective surface of 2.5 m2 in U15 quality (two filter classes higher than required) and an effectiveness of 99.9999%.
This filter package consists of two different activated carbon filters in combination with a S8.2S H14 HEPA filter. This package primarily matches applications in environments vontaining pollutants with a low-boiling point.
As an example, the first filter can be filled with ABEK coal, while the second filter is filled with AX coals. Such a filter combination is primarily used for the remediation of contaminated sites.
