Solution for chimney exhaust gases on a tower crane Posted 13.11.2018

The challenge was to supply the driver’s cab of a tower crane, 80m to 170m high – growing with the building, with fresh breathing air.

Here, the pivoting range of 360 ° of the tower crane was not allowed to be restricted.
In order to avoid the cost-intensive use of a compressed air system, special components and assemblies have been newly developed and manufactured by our design department as a supplement to our SBA 80 protective ventilation system.

In this solution, the pre-filtered air is sucked in at the bottom and led through a growing supply line via a patented rotary air distributor to the protective ventilation system and into the driver’s cab.

We wish the operating staff a safe and accident-free working time.
